Eric Taylor shares tips and techniques on how to stay fired up, laser focused and excited about achieving success by using power phrases, positive self-talk and success acronyms throughout the day.
Hi Lorna -
I haven't visited this section of the site in a while but I wanted to say thank you! thank you! for the kind words about the video. I'm glad I could be a source of inpsiration for you. It's truly what drives me to do what I do everyday - To Your Continued Success!
I agree with Eric, that what you think about, you bring about. In order for our lives to be focused, our minds need to be focused. If we focus on thinks that we do not want, that is exactly what is going to show up in our lives. We need to be clear about what we want and hold onto that vision with excitement and positivity! Way to go Eric!
Love the Jim Rohn quote - it's also one of my favorites. I keep it as a TOMA for myself. Thanks for the reminder that food is fuel. That's one I have to work on ... Appreciate your energy and focus.
It is most powerful short video that I have ever seen. It is direct, focus and achieving the results. Thanks Eric for the approach you offer to keep me stay going in challenging times.
What a cool video! A quick hit, hits the spot. I really love the DREAMS message because that's where I'm at in my Infinity story. Yay!!! What a great day. Thank you. (two weeks later :))
Excellent, positive thoughts are always the beginning of any journey. have you heard that if any one gives you a lime, do not frown! Make lemonade, or squeeze out the juice and store - limes become scare sometimes (use to marinate fish/meats).
DREAMS = Diet, Rest, Exercises, Attitude, Mental focus, Success!!!!!! - yeah, this is great, I have liked it very much, I'll remember this acronym! Dear Eric, that reply of Anonimous about "not quite serious" - I think it's because of some cultural differences. Indeed, typical American flamboyance and energetic way of speaking like yours can be sometimes accepted in some cultures - for example Russian or Chinese - as kind of aggressive or "not quite serious". Anyway, IMHO you do a great job!
Absolutely Yuri - I appreciate your comment. Cultural differences and the fact I'm hyper-active, ADHD and I drink a lot of coffee (not Starbucks though) might have something to do with the energy! It drives my wife crazy! :-)
Have an awesome weekend! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Eric, more power to you! enthusiasm is one of the most infectious moods when delivered effectively. You could never transmit the same talking like Droopy Dawg! I have been accused of being a little excited and animated, but like you I am enthusiastic and excited about everything I do, and my sales team love it!
Might be different for you americans, but this powerstyle talking, speedy, intense, doesn't do it for me. It just doesn't sound serious done this way and the stress-style prevets me from talking it in. What is wrong with talking normal?
I agree. It is overdone and fast becoming a cliche style of presentation. Today, with so many people on the internet seeing exactly this kind of presenting of scam products and get rich schemes, they are becoming more wary of this slick hyped style. Unfortunately, it takes away from the message - which is a good one.
My point exactly. If you want to share something with valid substance, why present it like a hype, why give the impression of an amateur arused over a thought/idea?
While Eric obviously has something important to say, the style is designed for the conditioned American who is used to this. The rest of the world has a whole different mind set, and we must consider that almost everything we now put on the internet should be designed for the rest of the world also. The USA may be leading the world in the internet 'push' but it will soon be a small player as 300 million vrs 6+ billion speaks louder than this style.
Hi mr. anaymous. Ur right. It's good to be in the Zen Zone. I do that for inspiration. But, PMA & DREAM help me to inspire myself & it lets me know there are others like me struggling to do the same. cheers!!
Hi Anonymous - That's whats great about America and the world - everyone can have their own opinion, likes and dislikes and share them. But what I would like to say about your reply is that although it may not sound serious to you...I'm very serious about the strategies I shared - they have changed my life for the better and hopefully have helped thousands of others as well.
Make it Your Best Year Ever! and thanks for sharing!
Thank You Eric! I love your addictive, positive inspiration. I would enjoy waking up to that excitement every single day. The video was informative, useful and fun. Hope to see more of these. Thank you again.
