In today’s busy world, high blood pressure has become a common health problem. And most of them are not aware that they have this. When this goes beyond control it causes lot of health problems. Now what is high blood pleasure? This is commonly known as hyper tension, the condition when the blood pressure goes high. When this goes beyond a level there are chances of having a stroke, heart disease. It may even lead to kidney failure. If a person is said to have a high blood pressure, there is no permanent cure, instead the patient has to maintain the blood pressure. And this does not have any symptoms as such and anyone can get high blood pressure in spite of the age.
One can get affected by high blood pressure for several reasons. The High blood pressure is of two types, the primary and the secondary. The primary is most common among the people and it may not have a medical cause behind it. But secondary blood pressure, as a result one may have heart disease or a kidney failure. When people are obese, then they are highly prone for this high blood pressure.
The major reason for the cause of high blood pressure is through secondary hypertension. When you treat this the pressure the cause of the high blood pleasure may be due to, alcohol addiction, use of birth control pills, thyroid dysfunction. An inactive, mechanical lifestyle without any physical activities may lead to high blood pleasure. If the above stated facts are changed then one can prevent or control blood pressure. Alcohol consumption more than two drinks per day may tend to increase the blood pressure. Avoid using too much of drugs say for instance diet pills, pills which are for allergy, cold may also lead to blood pressure.
Maintaining the proper weight will help to control the blood pressure. The more the weight is the more the chances of getting high blood pressure. There are not much of symptoms for high blood pressure. It is often called as silent killer as people are not aware whether their pressure is high or normal until measured. If the person gets severe headache or blurred vision or a chest pain it should be considered serious and should be consulted with a doctor immediately.
It is must to treat the high blood pressure and keep it under control. One can control the pressure by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, by keeping their weight under control, and proper medication. Whatever medication one takes the pressure should be checked regularly to make sure the pressure is under control. Always go for the prescribed medicine. And make sure there is proper intake of the medication prescribed. Change in lifestyle alone won’t help in reducing the pressure; one should take the medicines regularly and strictly follow the diet. Increase in the physical activity will help a lot in reducing the stress which will in turn reduce the blood pressure. Too much of salt intake will help in raising the blood pressure, so always reduce salt intake so that the pressure level is maintained.
