"Its Time For A Change"
Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2
As we come to the close of the year and we begin to reflect on this past year, while we look back through the pages of our minds we begin to debunk the mysteries of the myths of people, place and things that has held our mind, body, heart and soul captives to things of this world, unable to think and see beyond to vast space in time to capture a glimpse into the heavenly realm of who we truly are, and what is our ultimate destiny.
We clamor through life each day rushing to and fro, not stopping to smell the roses along the way; we are caught up in the vortex of life performing the same rituals over and over again completing missions that we were not sent here to do; - and at the end of a long and arduous day of being slaves to the dollar (which is made from trees) we encompass the Globe through our minds imagining and wishing if we could achieve for ourselves the things of immense statures.
"What if?" we would take the time and through spiritual eyes begin to examine our lives and the world we inhabit more closely as we begin the exodus through our past of the people, place and things that has held us captive from generation to generation – in seeing ourselves more clearly, "what would you change?". For some of us we are going on a journey through life listening to the same people impart negative things in our mind, we attract and date the same kind of people, we occupy the same space, we eat the same foods, in or recreational lifestyle we do the things over and over again. Some times without even knowing these things we destroy ourselves slowly day by day, failing to recognize the symptoms of an habitual weakened human nature and like creatures of habit we at times celebrate our dysfunctions instead of confronting them.
Carnality of humanity without spirituality we will continue to be the same – we are unable to change our daily habits because all we see and think are within the context of human nature. Most of us do not understand the power that lies within us we only see ourselves as flesh and blood which is the earthly and weaker side of us. By understanding and knowing the spiritual side of us we can begin our transformation of change in all aspect of life. In spirit we are strong and we begin the transformation of our minds to enlarge our territories by recognizing and embracing the positives and releasing the negatives.
As the above verse says, "be ye transformed by the renewing of our minds" understand spirit (you) first then mind second; be empowered to change in order to control your destiny.
