At first glance this may seem like a naive even ignorant statement to make when you consider that it is virtually impossible to view any media content without being bombarded with the idea that the world is in the grip of a crisis and that we must take precautions and be frugal with our money because we could loose our jobs or homes at any moment.

The powers that be are making a great show of convincing us that we must be afraid, very afraid because our way of life is in jeopardy. But I would like to offer you an alternative train of thought, a way to put all of the doom and gloom that you are being force fed with aside.

It is not necessary for you to live in fear. It is not necessary for you to follow the crowd and buy into the hysteria that is gradually building. You do not have to spend your time focusing on the global financial state of affairs. Instead you can make a simple decision that will take you from living in fear to living in joy. You can choose to focus your attention on lack, limitation and all that is wrong with the economy, or you can choose to focus your attention on your own abundance and decide that in your world there is no economic crisis.

In its simplest definition the law of attraction is described as “like attracts like,” so can you imagine what would happen if we all became blinded with fear and began focusing our thoughts on loosing our jobs, businesses and homes? The crisis that we are currently facing would pale in comparison to that which we have the power to create with our thoughts.

So instead of living in fear I suggest we remember the law of attraction and how powerful it is and change our thoughts to good wealth, good health, love and peace, and leave the economics to the politicians.

Create Your Own Crisis Free World.
If you are worried about your business taking a downward turn, put your attention on ways to drum up new business, busy yourself with creating ways to make your business more viable, profitable and successful. Use your time in a positive way and motivate your employees to do the same. Run a weekly competition and reward your staff for the most ingenious ideas, the most productivity or the best positive attitude. Do what ever you can to keep moral high; this will encourage a happier workforce and a more positive environment that will in turn attract more success.

If you are an employee and you find yourself worrying about loosing your job, switch your attention to having a perfect job, allow yourself to daydream about what your perfect job would be like. Write down a list of what your dream job will entail, how happy you are in your great job and how great your colleagues are. Read your list often, memorize it and call it to the forefront of your mind whenever you are feeling fearful. Doing this will help you to focus on the positive, and allow new and better opportunities to come your way.

The most important thing to do in this currant time is limit the amount of media you expose yourself to. It is truly amazing how much easier it is to remain positive and focused when you stop bombarding your mind with the steady flow of negative information that you have become accustomed to. It is understandable that some of you may truly enjoy reading the newspaper daily and you may have to remain up to date on current affairs due to the work that you do, but you certainly do not need to totally saturate your mind with the negativity that is served up by the media 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

If you must read the newspaper try reading just the headlines and make a conscious decision not to read the full story if it is something unpleasant or likely to upset you. I have found that reading the news online is particularly helpful for limiting negative exposure. Most news services online rely on blazing headlines to attract your attention but you also have to click a button to read the full story, so it is easy to make the decision not to click. If you can do this for just a few weeks you will find that you will become less and less drawn to the hyper headlines and you will soon find it unnecessary to read yet another story on war, famine, poverty or the economy.

Instead actively seek out inspiring, uplifting or funny stories, again this is much easier to do online and as you make it your intention to do so by the law of attraction you must attract back more positive media that will raise your vibration and allow you to move forward, regardless of what is going on around you and allow you to create a world for yourself that is prosperous, joyous and peaceful.
