When I was being made as a person and if I had been able to pick my attributes, I would not have chosen addictions and the effects of addictions, to be part of my life.

That being said, addictions and abuse did impact on my life.

This not very unique. About 10% of the population suffers directly from addiction. From this group of “addicted”, just like the spread of a disease, addictions impact negatively on a very large portion of the population as a direct result of constant exposure to an addicted person. If addictions have touched your life, you are in a majority of the population. Addictions negatively impact the life of the addicted person and those they touch. For most, the impact is a “dirty little secret” and swept under the table. Addictions limit human possibilities and destroy self-esteem.

For 15 years I have dealt with the impact of addictions in my own life, and issues that commonly arise as a result of addictions. Today I have a life that I truly enjoy, and live comfortably within my own skin! I have trained to professionally coach others to the same place, and have demonstrated an expertise in this area. My clients get results.

My services are not a replacement for other “life recovery” methods and are used by many to compliment other programs. For many others, they have achieved their stated goals as a result of working exclusively with me at a pace and times to meet their life styles.

There are many “free” options where people can work in self-help, 12 step environments. The 12 step program still has a key role in my life today.

There are treatment facilities for various afflictions. Many are very expensive if you do not have a private plan; if you are going and are going with payment from a government funding source, wait times are very long. My services are a viable, personal and cost effective option to treatment facilities and our approach far more holistic than many treatment facilities. We want clients to have a whole and complete life, not just a life free of addictions, where they are truly pleased on a daily basis with the person they see in the mirror.

None of us chose addiction as a character attribute that they wanted; generally using started innocently. Those impacted by addicted people had no idea of what the ride would be like, and children had little choice! They don’t get to choose parents.

Is this a “pitch”? Yes, but a pitch to try and get addicted folks and those that have been impacted to get help. I coach for a living for those who want coaching. I do “service” as a give back and this included listening to concerns, clarifying and suggesting options that will offer hope. I am a voice on the phone; confidential and able to protect your anonymity. Both life and education have been my teachers and my track record is success.
