I also learned that the nursing Boards call CEUs contact hours and the acupuncture Board calls them Professional Development Activity. In Navigating the CEU Process, Ms. Fleming does a great job in breaking this information down.

She also explains: how being approved as a CEU provider can generate higher student enrollment in your holistic health classes, provides you credibility in the field, how to market your classes and what you are responsible for after you receive approval from the various professional boards. Ms. Fleming does an outstanding job of explaining this complicated process and she even supplies you with the active verbs that the Boards are looking for as you describe your learning strategies and outcomes.

The book is presented in a small pocket reference style. CDs from her two hour lecture on the subject are also available. The book includes over 123 helpful strategies in approaching this sometimes multifarious process. You can tell that a lot of time, energy and experience went into this book. I have not seen information packaged on this subject anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and buy the book and CD to prepare for successfully conquering thing arduous task.
